Kaua’i Attire

Kaua’i is a very casual place—shorts, sandals and T-shirts are the standard attire everywhere except for the fancier restaurants. We do recommend you bring a pair of binoculars if you have them, along with your favorite music to listen to or support our local entertainers and get their music to take home with you!

Use of Sunblock and Kaua’i’s fragile eco-system

Please help protect our reefs and sea life. Before you buy or apply sunscreen, please read the ingredients. Be careful what type of sunscreen you apply to your skin. Please consider using ZINC or TITANIUM OXIDE sunscreens only as they are better for you and the ocean. These are considered reef-safe sunscreens and are better for the health of our coral reefs. Closing Thoughts

There are so many GREAT places to dine and visit on Kaua’i that they couldn’t possibly all be listed in this letter. We hope you will discover the other gems on your own. Please call the places noted in this letter to confirm hours of operation, happy hour specials, and entertainment.
