This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!
On the top floor overlooking a garden setting, Unit #356 is a lovely place to wake up and enjoy garden and ocean views from your lanai.
The ideal spot for couples, friends and solo travelers alike, you will love this beachfront Hawaiian paradise. Spend the evening outdoors on the lanai, at the poolside Tiki Hut Bar as you watch the sky change colors and the palms sway in the famous trade winds. Enjoy the tropical plantation ambiance we offer.
Unit 356 includes: Free wireless internet (WiFi); flat screen cable TV; high efficiency Fujitsu air conditioner (A/C); coffee maker; mini fridge with separate freezer door compartmen (there are ice machines on property); microwave; cutlery, serving ware and utensils; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board.Poolside BBQs available.

You will delight in the tropical ambiance of this resort and that special feeling of island hospitality called aloha! Spend carefree days exploring the mystical Island of Kaua'i. Dine at one of our recommended establishments or take in the fabulous lu'au at Kilohana Plantation, and every night you will return to the serenity of Suite 356 and be lulled to sleep by the peace and ocean sounds only Kauai can offer.
Free parking for our guests but there are no elevators on the property. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.
Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.
CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.
*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.
*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. "We had a wonderful first trip to Kauai. The location of Kathy's place was absolutely perfect. We could easily get to activities on both sides of the island. The sunrises from the beach at this location in Kapa'a were amazing. Parking was pretty full, especially if we returned in the evening, but we always managed to find a spot."

"Wonderful ocean view. Nice breeze made it so we hardly used the AC (of course, we are people that think 75 is a little too cold). The refrigerator did leak some water onto the floor before we got there but it was taken care of super fast and didn't happen again (the instructions were specific on how to use all of the amenities). The grounds are well cared for and very beautiful. Such a nice stay."

"I love Kathy's home! It's great from the beach location, view, amenities, comfort level and Kathy's flexibility when I had to revise my dates do to scheduling mistake on my part. To my surprise, when I arrived I realized I had stayed at this property 10 years ago and felt like it was a true "homecoming" to a safe and loving place. "This place was perfect as a home base for exploring the whole island. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby (even within walking distance), and the rest of the island isn't more than 1-1.5 hrs away at most. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked very well (when we needed it). I only wish I would have booked for longer!"
