This 2nd floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles! 

Unit #245 is a corner unit, offering beautiful Panoramic Ocean views to both the East and the North. Come enjoy the gentle cross breeze, additional light and privacy that only a corner unit can offer. 245's 2nd floor location affords the best ocean views. Get ready for sand between your toes and relaxation for your soul. Many of our guests come back year after year for the breathtaking sun and moon rise views and short walk to the waves. Enjoy the many unique features and amenities of Unit 245. You will delight in the ambiance of this property, and that special feeling of island hospitality called aloha!  Spend carefree days exploring the mystical and magical Island of Kaua'i. Dine at one of our recommended establishments or take in the fabulous lu'au at Kilohana Plantation, and every night you will return to the serenity of 245 and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf.

For your convenience, #245 includes: high efficiency Fujitsu A/C plus ceiling fan with remote; free WiFi; Smart' 40 inch flatscreen TV with Netflix; microwave; coffee maker; mini fridge with separate freezer door (and there are two ice machines on property); all necessary kitchen utensils; all necessary linens (organic cotton bed linens and towels), bath, kitchen, and beach towels;  iron and ironing board.  You can BBQ poolside or enjoy stunning views of Waipouli Beach from the comfort of your lanai.

Please note there are no elevators on property.  Free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. It's beautifully situated on its own private Waipouli Beach. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.

Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar.  This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service.  If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.

CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.

*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways.  A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.

*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. "We decided to stay at Aston Islander on the beach for nostalgic reasons, as we also stayed at the complex in 2002 when my wife I and got married on Ke'e Beach. The pictures online matched perfectly with the unit. Kathy was responsive throughout the entire booking process. The unit is not overly spacious, but it was just perfect for two people. The views of the beach were perfect on the lanai. I enjoyed coffee just about every morning there. The complex also has a nice pool and hot tub, which we used frequently. Both were closed for one day due to maintenance, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The unit is right next to the Coconut Marketplace, which we walked to a lot for restaurants and to get some groceries at the corner grocery store. The location for the unit is also central for exploring both the west and north shores of the island. The only minor issue we had was with the bed. "Kathy's studio Airbnb was beyond amazing! It is exactly as seen in the pictures plus the beach front view with a phenomenal sunrise & sunset. The location is PERFECT in Kapa'a that is in the middle of the island and equal distance for exploration on both sides of the island. It has a mini kitchenette minus the stove top to warm up your own meals from the grocery store close by in the town village to save some money. It is an air conditioned unit nice and insulated. Pool is literally right next to the unit. For things close by, there is the coconut market village that has shops, a grocery store, and restaurants that is just a walk across the parking lot without having to drive. The receptionist are extremely helpful for locating close by services and giving you the Hawaiian welcome from the Aston Islander where the Airbnb is located. Plan to stay here again.
