This 2nd floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!

Unit #249 is a 2nd floor, direct ocean front unit! It offers direct views of the Pacific and is in a great location in the complex. Wake up to the most beautiful sunrises/moonrises around along with the sounds of the pounding surf right outside your slider door. Not a bad place to sit back, relax on the lanai, and drink your morning coffee!

Enjoy the many unique features and amenities of Unit 249. You will delight in the ambiance of this tastefully decorated unit with its tropical touches, and that special feeling of island hospitality called aloha!  Spend carefree days exploring the mystical and magical Island of Kaua'i. Dine at one of our recommended establishments or take in the fabulous lu'au at Kilohana Plantation, and every night you will return to the serenity of 249 and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf. You can enjoy poolside BBQs and a lovely lanai overlooking the water.

For your convenience, #249 includes: high efficiency Fujitsu A/C and ceiling fan; free WiFi with wireless router; flat screen mounted TV; microwave; coffee maker; small fridge (there are two ice makers on property); all necessary kitchen utensils; all necessary linens (bath, kitchen, and beach towels); iron and ironing board; hot tub (shared) and pool (shared).

Please note there are no elevators on property.  Free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. It's beautifully situated on its own private Waipouli Beach. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.

Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar.  This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service.  If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.

CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.

*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways.  A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $200 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.

*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. "Was a great place to stay. You could stay and never go into town. Restaurants/ grocery/ shopping are all within walking distance. We had breakfast everyday at LAVA LAVA which is on the beach and next door! The ladies at the front desk were really helpful too. I was worried about air conditioning. The condo has one but after the 1st night we didn't need it at night. The sound of the ocean through the screen and a ceiling fan is all you need for very good rest. "This place turned out to be the perfect spot for us. Close to restaurants, take out, shopping and the 10 mile multi-use trail. We found out on day 2 that it is often better to walk when you can versus drive due to the traffic that was often bumper to bumper and not moving. The location of the condo is ideal and the view is priceless. We often brought our food back and ate outside listening to the pounding surf. The set up of the space also worked well for us. Enjoyed the pool and happy hour at the pool bar. The people we corresponded with related to this unit were always prompt and helpful. They were nice enough to extend our checkout when my husband was delayed on his hike due to the heavy rain. We wished we would have stayed here for our whole stay. Thank you Kathy and all!"
