New furniture! Beautiful tropical decor. California King bed and a double size sofa bed. (Comfortably sleeps a party of 2. We allow up to 3 guests. If you have a party of 4, please ask permission in advance. The sofa bed is more suitable for children than adults.)
This 2nd floor "get away" vacation home is on one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!
Unit #239 is a 2nd-floor unit on a corner that allows additional sunlight because of the extra window. It has a great ocean view! It also has a nice tree off to the left that shields the unit from the lobby building and walking path for added privacy.
The following is provided for your comfort: High efficiency Fujitsu A/C; all necessary kitchenware including silverware and glassware; all necessary linens and towels (both regular and beach); free Internet (wired) included; Flat-screen Smart TV; small fridge (there are two ice machines on property); microwave; DVD player; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. Let us carry you away with ocean breezes and the beauty of the Garden Isle in comfort in 239! You can BBQ poolside or enjoy stunning views of Waipouli Beach and the pool from the comfort of your lanai.
239 is in a breathtaking location on the Garden Isle. Enjoy easy access to a number of Kapa'a's biggest hot spots, such as Smith's Family Lu'au, Fern Grotto and Wailua Falls. You have the opportunity to relax in a resort-like setting with a beautiful, beachfront location while you to soak up the Hawaiian sun.
Please note there is no elevator on property. We offer free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.
Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.
*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.
*Please note that a $200 fee will be applied for the replacement of a lost key.
*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.
Cancellation Policy:
* $200 non-refundable fee for cancellations made more than 90 days before arrival.
* Within 90 days: Refunds issued only if the unit is re-rented for canceled nights (minus $400 and any rebooking costs).
* All cancellations must be submitted in writing/email.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. "Excellent host! Clear and easy communication and very responsive when needed. Unit is as described and shown in photos. Basic, but clean and a great value. Location is great because it is somewhat central to the island and within walking distance to food and shopping at the Coconut Marketplace, and supplies at the ABC store - very convenient! Just a short walk away from the ocean. The beach isn't the best, as it is a bit rough and not a great swimming beach if that is your thing. There are trees where you can easily find a nice shaded spot and watch the waves though. I have stayed at the Aston Islander 3 times now and it has been perfect for my needs every time. It is simple and affordable."

"This Airbnb was perfect for our little group trip, and was super flexible for our mismatched travel plans. Being right next to the beach was so awesome and having the marketplace nearby was really great. It's a bit away from Kapa'a's downtown, so it was really convenient to have so many amenities and shops nearby! Kathy was super responsive and super easy to communicate with, despite my lulls in responsiveness. She helped me thoroughly and clearly with my change requests, and was super patient with me! "The unit may look dated to some, but we call it charming. We're an older couple who prefer quiet, serene surroundings with a view of the ocean from the patio and enjoy the peace it offers. Kapa'a is the sweet spot for those wanting to be far from all but near enough to the modern convenience of shops and restaurants. As an end unit, Unit 239 is close to the stairway but we never experienced significant noise (perhaps we're just hard of hearing now). The resort grounds are very well-kept and the staff is really nice. Room is clean and well-stocked with what you'd expect from a BnB rental. It even has a couple of boogie boards for use if you choose to play in the water. AC is quiet and cool. Bed is comfortable. Strong wifi signal. Kitchenette with stuff you need to have a decent takeout meal. Host is highly responsive. Bottom line: it's several levels up from camping in a tent, and the price is reasonable for the amenities offered. Highly recommended."
