This 2nd floor "get away" vacation home is on one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!
Unit #239 is a 2nd-floor unit on a corner that allows additional sunlight because of the extra window. It has a great ocean view! It also has a nice tree off to the left that shields the unit from the lobby building and walking path for added privacy.
The following is provided for your comfort: High efficiency Fujitsu A/C; all necessary kitchenware including silverware and glassware; all necessary linens and towels (both regular and beach); free Internet (wired) included; flat screen TV; small fridge (there are two ice machines on property); microwave; DVD player; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. Let us carry you away with ocean breezes and the beauty of the Garden Isle in comfort in 239! You can BBQ poolside or enjoy stunning views of Waipouli Beach and the pool from the comfort of your lanai.
239 is in a breathtaking location on the Garden Isle. Enjoy easy access to a number of Kapa'a's biggest hot spots, such as Smith's Family Lu'au, Fern Grotto and Wailua Falls. You have the opportunity to relax in a resort-like setting with a beautiful, beachfront location while you to soak up the Hawaiian sun.
Please note there is no elevator on property. We offer free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.
Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.
CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.
*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.
*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. "Kathy's Aston Islander studio is a true gem. She and her team are super friendly and responsive to guest needs. We just completed a 17day stay and it was wonderful. From the beautiful ocean view to the gorgeous tropical grounds.. Aston Islander is the best value on the island and Kathy's studio is the perfect spot. Walkable to wonderful restaurants, the pool and hot tub are awesome and the ocean is your "backyard"! Would not hesitate to stay in this lovely studio"

"Kathy is an awesome hostess, and the room was great. The location is perfect beautiful view of the ocean, and pool area. The apartment was clean and stocked with necessities. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and shops in the coconut market. Overall couldn't have asked for more from this trip. Would highly recommend. Couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. Check in was simple, and the apartment was just as advertised. Kathy was helpful and responsive throughout the process. The location of the lodging was absolutely perfect. Right next to the pool with a beautiful ocean view. The property is very walkable, with restaurants and shops nearby. We had a great time in Kauai and cannot wait till our next visit."

"Kathy's place was extremely clean and seemed freshly painted. It was obviously tidy and cared for. The bathroom is large. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of comfortable sitting spots inside, on the balcony or on the grounds. The balcony had a large table and chairs which was very comfortable for meals and just hanging out. The location on the island was perfect. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Easy to drive anywhere north or south and every large shop ten minutes away. Parking spots were abundant and close to the unit. The grounds are gorgeous. Lush with tropical plants and very well cared for. The pool area was lovely and inviting and the view of the grounds, pool and beach/ocean was perfect. Communication was instantaneous and we felt well connected and safe."
