This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!
Unit #160 is ground level and four units from Waipouli Beach (approximately 30 paces). Almost direct ocean front, but without paying for oceanfront! Come and explore the gorgeous Garden Isle of Kaua'i in Kapa'a on the Coconut Coast. Here time slips away while you watch the coconut trees sway in the refreshing trade winds!
160 for your convenience includes: High efficiency Fujitsu A/C; free Wireless Internet (WiFi); Flat-screen HD Smart TV; towels (both regular and beach); all necessary kitchenware including silverware and glassware; microwave; mini fridge with separate freezer door (and there are two ice machines on property); electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. Poolside BBQs to enjoy.
160 in a breathtaking location on the Garden Isle. Enjoy easy access to a number of Kapa'a's biggest hot spots, such as Smith's Family Lu'au, Fern Grotto and Wailua Falls. You have the opportunity to relax in a resort-like setting with a beautiful, beachfront location while you to soak up the Hawaiian sun.
We offer free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.
Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.
CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.
*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.
*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. "I absolutely loved staying here. The area is peaceful, quiet, and so convenient. Kathy was super responsive and proactively checked in on us, making sure check in went smoothly and if there was anything we needed. The amenities were accurate. The place also came with beach chairs, a cooler bag, and an umbrella. The beach is totally swimmable too! We'd get up and watch the sunrise, take a morning dip in the ocean, have some coffee from IMUA, relax, and then take off on our adventure that day. The bar by the pool is small and quaint, but totally does the job. We would get a drink during happy hour and relax by the pool after long days. The bar tenders were always nice and the Pina Coladas were great! In just a 2 minute walk there's coffee, multiple restaurants, bike rentals, groceries, and an ABC store. Oh, and don't forget shaved ice! My favorite places were IMUA coffee and Sleeping Giant Grill. Poipu beach is 40 min one direction, and Hanalei Bay is 40 min the other direction."

"I can't stop raving about Kathy's place! The location is EVERYTHING! From the ocean being only footsteps away from the room (caught a gorgeous sunset), to the ABC store within walkable distance (best mochi ube malasadas ever!), as well as other souvenir stores and restaurants. Our only regret is only spending two nights there. Looking back we should've stayed there in Kapa'a our whole trip instead of staying the other half in Princeville. The actual room was amazing, too, very spacious, super comfortable bed, tv, functioning AC, sliding door so you can get some fresh ocean air in, everything you can think of you might need: kitchenette, utensils, pots, microwave, beach towels, beach chairs etc. we definitely hope to be back!"

"Kathy and the team at Maui and Kauai Vision Rentals were great! They reached out ahead of time to provide clear instructions on how to get to the property. Throughout our trip, they also reached out to us via text and email to ensure that things were going smoothly with our stay. The location of the studio could not be more perfect. It is literally steps away from the beach. It is located directly behind a plaza that has various restaurants, gift shops, and a small market. It is also located about 5 minutes away from the town of Kapa'a which has a grocery store, drug store, and many restaurants. The room itself was clean. All of the basic amenities were there and worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet so falling asleep was easy. Wifi speeds were good. My tests show about 300 Mbps Down and 10 Mbps Up. Good enough to stream videos or have a video call. Overall our stay was great! We would love to stay here again! Thanks again Kathy and team!

"Perfect spot! Perfectly described as published. Beautiful location, beautiful grounds. Nicely located near food, coffee and shops. Had everything we needed. I had some last minute changes with my travel plans and Kathy was responsive and very accommodating. Haven't had great AirBnB experiences lately, so Kathy was a breathe of fresh air. Only thing I would change are the hard(er) pillows, but I have neck issues so am typically more sensitive in this area. Would definitely return!"
