This top floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!
Unit #320 is a third floor unit with a great ocean view on the private quiet side of the complex. On the top floor overlooking a garden setting with no walking path or foot traffic, you can leave the slider open all night and let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep. When you awake there will be a chorus of tropical birds to greet you as you enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai. This unit offers you the quiet and tranquility you desire while providing a beautiful ocean view and serene setting. Pool is not far and beach is a few steps and stairs away!
Unit 320 includes: Flat screen cable TV; high efficiency Fujitsu air conditioner (A/C); wifi internet; coffee maker; small fridge (there are ice machines on property); microwave; cutlery, serving ware and utensils; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. Poolside BBQs.
Many of our guests come back year after year for the breathtaking views and short walk to the waves. Enjoy the many unique features and amenities of Suite 320. You will delight in the tropical ambiance of this resort and that special feeling of island hospitality called aloha! Spend carefree days exploring the mystical Island of Kaua'i. Dine at one of our recommended establishments or take in the fabulous lu'au at Kilohana Plantation, and every night you will return to the serenity of Suite 320 and be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean.
Free parking for our guests but there are no elevators on the property. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.
Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.
CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.
*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.
*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. "This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Islander on the beach in the Hawaii building. It has a view of the water but not direct on the boardwalk so it's much more private. Being on the 3rd floor you can leave the slider door open and hear the ocean. This unit was great with having the extra table holding the microwave it gave you more counter space by the sink. The refrigerator was big enough to hold our snacking foods but we ate dinners out. We didn't use the bbq's near the pool. Safeway is only a mile north and the shaved ice next to ABC store uses natural fruits instead of artificial. we don't recommend the store Big Savings it was actually more expensive. Coconut marketplace is right behind you and has lots of great shopping options. This unit doesn't have beach chairs but there is a rental place next to Sleeping giant grill (great food) that rents chairs and other great beach stuff. The beach wasn't great for swimming but 1 mile south is Lydgate beach and it's awesome. We did a day trip up to Waimea canyon. Go early (left at 7:30am) to get up there before clouds come in. We did the tubing with Kauai Backcountry and loved it. Overall I highly recommend this condo. Bed was comfortable and it was very clean. The units are older so just expect some wear and tear."

"If you are on the fence about booking this place, jump off and book it. The pictures are exactly what is described and it is even better in person. The grounds are beautiful and the unit was so clean and felt like home. The view from the balcony is absolutely real and such a wonderful perk. It is within walking distance of a beautiful walkway to the beach for any sunrise, sunset or moonlit walk. We grilled our dinner using the resort's grills on the Sunday we were there and it felt extra special to eat surrounded by the tiki light torches while listening to the crashing waves. We loved how centrally located this unit was since we took advantage of exploring all parts of the island. It was the perfect spot, I promise. Do yourself a favor and don't delay. "This place was a great find in Kapa'a. It is so close to the beach, my husband and I made the 30 second trek to watch the sunrise every morning we were there. The location was incredible - Right next to Coconut Marketplace for all of our essential needs at the ABC Store, plus touristy shops as well. It was also right next to Lava Lava Beach Club where we ate twice. The inside of the unit was a bit dated, but for the price I think it's worth the convenient location! And the view from the balcony was beautiful. Would definitely stay there again."

"Excellent location with a beautiful view of crashing ocean waves from the balcony exactly as advertised. Minutes walk away from a host of restaurants and a grocery store. Saw a Hawaiian monk seal resting on the beach nearby. Water stopped for a couple of hours late one night but was restored quickly. I arrived an hour early and the place was ready for check in."

"The studio sized condo is located in Kapa'a right by the beach. There is no beach view directly from the balcony but the beach is only a 2 minute walk away. Check in directions were emailed prior to arrival and there are clear instructions for how to operate the AC, cable and internet. There are a lot of dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils available but no stove or hot plate due to board regulations. Only a mini fridge and microwave are available. No laundry machine in condo and I am not sure if there's one available for use on the property. Parking is included. Perfect place to stay if you're going to be spending your days exploring Kauai."
