This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!

The ideal spot for couples, friends and solo travelers alike, you will love this beachfront Hawaiian paradise. Spend the evening outdoors on the lanai or at the poolside Tiki Hut Bar as you watch the sky change colors and the palms sway in the famous trade winds. 

 

Unit 351 includes:  Free wireless internet (WiFi); flat screen Smart TV; high efficiency Mitsubishi air conditioner (A/C); coffee maker; mini fridge with separate freezer door compartment (there are ice machines on property); microwave; cutlery, serving ware and utensils; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board.

 

Many of our guests come back year after year for the breathtaking views and short walk to the waves. Enjoy the many unique features and amenities of Suite 351. You will delight in the tropical ambiance of this resort and that special feeling of island hospitality called aloha!  Spend carefree days exploring the mystical Island of Kaua'i. Dine at one of our recommended establishments or take in the fabulous lu'au at Kilohana Plantation, and every night you will return to the serenity of Suite 351 and be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean.

 

Free parking for our guests but there are no elevators on the property. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.

Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar.  This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service.  If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.

CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.

*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways.  A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.

*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. The view of the ocean was incredible and it was extra special to watch the sunrise each morning from either our bed, or balcony! We also loved having the Coconut Marketplace and other restaurants right next door for easy gift shopping, dinner, or shaved ice. The location on the east side of Kauai was perfect and we felt like we had easy access each day to anywhere we wanted to go on the island. We definitely recommend a stay here and are dreaming of returning!"

The rental had gorgeous ocean views. You could not ask for a more beautiful view from the balcony. Kathy was very responsive and helpful anytime I had a question. Amenities were as listed- enough to get you started but if staying for longer than about 3-4 days, plan on purchasing or bringing soap and shampoo. The location of the rental was perfect. Right by the beach but also centrally located on the island so you can reach the north or south sides easily. Parking on site with a pass provided from the lobby. If the lot is full (as it was for us one evening) you can park in the coconut marketplace by the resort. If keeping food on the counter, make sure it seals well to prevent ants. You have access to the pool and hot tub on site too. Very nice! Definitely would stay here again and recommend this place! Cannot beat the views!!"

It was close to the airport after a long flight and multiple nights, including the first we just walked to restaurants for dinner. We were also able to walk to our kayak tour meetup, which was super convenient. The AC worked well, which we were grateful for since we were there in August and it was hot. We also used the pool during downtime which was nice. The snacks were a nice bonus also! Overall great stay and we would recommend and stay again."

"If you are looking for an affordable and well-maintained place to stay on Kauai I highly recommend staying at Kathy's Airbnb. My girlfriend and I rented out this unit for our week long stay mid July and were very pleased with our experience. This unit is located amidst a hotel complex with beautiful landscaping, friendly staff, a community pool/jacuzzi, and a poolside bar. Kathy's unit specifically is on the third floor with a stunning view of the water. Upon entry we noticed how clean the unit was with amenities such as minifridges, a microwave, stocked toiletries, etc. Kathy was amazing at checking in and ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The location is right in-between our two favorite cities to visit, Poipu and Hanalei Bay, which was very convenient for traveling. If you are searching for a stunning view and hotel like accommodations I highly recommend considering this unit!"

"Just wow! This is going to be the best value for oceanfront you can find on the island. Maybe 100 feet from the ocean / sand. There are a couple of lounge chairs in front of the ocean for guest at The Islander (that's the property this condo is at). It was very private, maybe 1-5 people hanging out in front of the ocean at a time. There is also a walking trail that if you keep going north through the dirt path, turns into a bike trail. The grounds are gorgeous. Felt like I was at a botanical center. Very quiet and safe spot. There are restaurants and shops behind the hotel, including an ABC store. The condo itself is very nice. She had towels, and snorkel gear with a chair as well. Bed was very comfortable. Not too soft, not too hard. Shower head wash held type, good to get sand off. She had two mini fridges for extra food storage. AC, black out curtains, indoor and outdoor table, easy check in, cool bar / pool / hot tub. Over all 10/10"

"Our stay at Islander 351 was incredible! Waking up to the ocean (and roosters) was so relaxing, and the property was just beautiful. There's easy free parking, a beautiful pool/hot tub, and a gorgeous beach in front of it! The location is impeccable- so walkable to things nearby & centrally located on the island so we could be north, south, or west in ~30-45 mins. The bed is soooo cozy & the air conditioning works well! The condo is very basic but had everything we needed (loved the freezer/fridge in addition to the small one under the cabinet). There's no hot plate or oven (only a toaster & microwave) but there are 3 outdoor grills. The silverware & dinnerware could definitely use an upgrade but we just got some plastic utensils from food trucks we ate at nearby. Kathy & her team were so responsive & checked in proactively. The instructions were super clear. We even extended our stay for another 5 nights bc we didn't want to leave! Cannot wait to come back to this condo!"

"The view of the ocean are what makes this rental. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning and people watching from the balcony as we leisurely enjoyed simple breakfasts in the room. It is not super fancy if that is your style, but a nice basic accommodation. The location is handy for going both to the south shore and north shore. The shopping area for essentials is a walk across the parking lot. We used the grills provided by the pool a couple times for dinner and they were in good shape and clean. Having 2 dorm refrigerators is very handy and we did not have to be concerned with having enough room for food and drinks we purchased. If we are able to come back again, I would consider staying here again or at this resort."
