(Comfortably sleeps a party of 2.  We allow up to 3 guests. If you have a party of 4, please ask permission in advance.  The couch bed is more suitable for children than adults.)

This ground floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i.  This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!

The unit also includes:  High efficiency A/C; free WiFi; Smart TV; kitchenette with all necessary utensils, dishes and glasses; all necessary linens and towels (both regular and beach); under-counter fridge; microwave; coffee maker; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. 

Studio 153 was upgraded and fully furnished throughout. Wake up to fresh morning breezes after getting the perfect night's sleep on the King size bed that is comfortably furnished. Enjoy the outdoor BBQs at poolside, ground floor access and two ice makers on property.153 boasts unparalleled views of the Sleeping Giant (Nounou) mountain range and Waipouli Beach, and is in a breathtaking location on the Garden Isle. Enjoy easy access to a number of Kapa'a's biggest hot spots, such as Smith's Family Lu'au, Fern Grotto and Wailua Falls.

We offer free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.

Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar.  This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service.  If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.

CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.

*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways.  A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.

*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. "We loved our stay here. The location of the unit is ideal for views and sounds of the ocean, as well as as access to a paved public walkway. We enjoyed having many food options within walking distance and being able to bring the food back to enjoy the meals right outside the backdoor. There is a small fridge and a microwave for storing leftovers and reheating. Parking is convenient at the front of the complex and it was easy to pick up a parking pass at the front desk when we first arrived. It's a short walk from the parking lot to the building and pretty easy to find with the map. For a downstairs unit with other adjacent units on both sides, we never dealt with any noise issues and everyone was very friendly and respectful!"

"This was perfect for our 8 days. As someone noted, it is small, but we kept things neat and it worked for us. We loved that we could walk right out onto the beach, and just a little way down was nice snorkeling. It was close to Lava Lava and the Coconut Market. We also enjoyed walking down to the Sheraton's Crooked Surf and it was a quick drive to Oasis on the Beach - ukelele player on Wednesdays was great! We did a lot of hiking and there were trails nearby. It was also not too bad to drive to Princeville and hike a little north of there. The main attraction was the morning sunrise...spectacular!"

"Had a fabulous time in Kauai staying at this Airbnb. Clean room, comfortable bed and right next to the beach. We used the BBQ grills several nights and enjoyed meeting folks around the pool and grills. Location on the East shore worked out great for us and we were able to easily explore the West and North Shores as well from this location. Kapa'a town is just up the road with a lot of eating and shopping to choose from. Highly recommend Bubbas Burgers for great food and lowest price for dinner we found. The shopping within walking distance of the resort was great for quick pick up of a snack or essentials if we forgot to get them while we were out. Would definitely stay here again. "Location, location, location! A perfect spot to enjoy the island. The condo was right on the beach walk and we were able to watch exquisite sunrises each morning at dawn. "The photos on Airbnb don't do the view and location justification. The accommodations are a 4.5 out of 5. The host Kathy was very responsive, The first day after arrival we noticed that there were no beach towels. I sent Kathy a quick message and when we returned from a short outing the beach towels were hanging on the door. The resort is very low-key and relaxing everything you need is within a short walk, shops, stores restaurants and a small market where you can buy anything you need or may have forgotten. The location on the island is centrally located so if you're into sightseeing and want to see Waimea canyon or the Nepali coast you have a short drive either way. The beach in front of the room has a great view and is accessible for swimming but no lifeguard is on duty. If you are a strong swimmer and into snorkeling some of the best snorkeling we found on the island exists just offshore right in front of the room. All in all we were extremely satisfied and will be back again. Thank you Kathy for being a great host."
