(Comfortably sleeps a party of 2. We allow up to 3 guests. If you have a party of 4, please ask permission in advance. The couch bed is more suitable for children than adults.)
This ground floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!
The unit also includes: High efficiency A/C; free WiFi; Flat-screen HD Smart TV; kitchenette with all necessary utensils, dishes and glasses; all necessary linens and towels (both regular and beach); under-counter fridge; microwave; coffee maker; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board.
Studio 153 was upgraded and fully furnished throughout. Wake up to fresh morning breezes after getting the perfect night's sleep on the King size bed that is comfortably furnished. Enjoy the outdoor BBQs at poolside, ground floor access and two ice makers on property.153 boasts unparalleled views of the Sleeping Giant (Nounou) mountain range and Waipouli Beach, and is in a breathtaking location on the Garden Isle. Enjoy easy access to a number of Kapa'a's biggest hot spots, such as Smith's Family Lu'au, Fern Grotto and Wailua Falls.We offer free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.
Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.
CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.
*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.
*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. "We absolutely loved our stay in Kathy's place! The location couldn't have been better, with the beach directly right outside the lanai and many restaurants and stores within a 5 minute walk. The bed was comfortable and we loved falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. The complex is also very beautiful with lovely landscaping. The highlight of our stay was waking up daily and seeing the gorgeous sunrise from the beach in front of the condo. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"This was our third time staying in a property owned by Kathy at islander on the beach. We love the location and how close it is close to everything. Check in was seamless and communication was great throughout the entire process. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked okay. The only small recommendation we would have is that the ceiling fan didn't run very high/fast."

"We really enjoy our stay here. The view was beautiful and just steps from the beach, which was a great place to have coffee or relax with a book. The grounds of the resort and the condo were very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Wish there had been a hot plate or some way to cook a meal but the lava lava club is steps away and fresh lattes are as well."

"Great views, right on the ocean/beach front. Lovely to sit on the lanai and watch/hear the waves. Room was exactly as described / pictured. Comfortable bed, sofa a little small for 2 people sitting in it. But we were out most of the time. Mini Kitchen had all the basics, including a blender. So we were able to make cereal breakfast, coffee. Keep snacks and drinks cold. Convenient location. Overall a very good stay."

"We loved our stay here. The location of the unit is ideal for views and sounds of the ocean, as well as as access to a paved public walkway. We enjoyed having many food options within walking distance and being able to bring the food back to enjoy the meals right outside the backdoor. There is a small fridge and a microwave for storing leftovers and reheating. Parking is convenient at the front of the complex and it was easy to pick up a parking pass at the front desk when we first arrived. It's a short walk from the parking lot to the building and pretty easy to find with the map. For a downstairs unit with other adjacent units on both sides, we never dealt with any noise issues and everyone was very friendly and respectful!"
