This ground floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i.  This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub, and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food, and specialty cocktails. There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!

Suite 131 includes Free wireless internet (WiFi); 42-inch flat-screen HD TV; high-efficiency Fujitsu air conditioner (A/C) and ceiling fan; coffee maker; fridge with separate freezer door compartment (there are ice machines on the property); microwave; cutlery, chinaware and utensils; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board; safety tub grab bar.  Poolside BBQs are available.
 
131 is as close to the beach as you can get anywhere on Kaua'i and only steps away from the water's edge with sun and moon rise views. Suite 131's ground floor location (Kauai Bldg) affords the best ocean views and all without stairs to climb. Your oceanfront private patio leads right onto the beach. Get ready for sand between your toes and relaxation for your soul. Many of our guests come back year after year for the breathtaking views and short walks to the waves. Enjoy the many unique features and amenities of Suite 131. You will delight in the tropical ambiance of Suite 131 and that special feeling of island hospitality called aloha!  Spend carefree days exploring the mystical and magical Island of Kaua'i. Dine at one of our recommended establishments or take in the fabulous lu'au at Kilohana Plantation, and every night you will return to the serenity of Suite 131 and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf.

Free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. It's beautifully situated on its own private Waipouli Beach. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei, and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point for them all.

Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar.  This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service.  If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If the Guest does not check out at the designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.

CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead-time we have.

*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways.  A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.

*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

"This was our third time in Kaua'i, and our second time renting one of Kathy's units. We love the location and how close it is to Coconut Marketplace and its shops and restaurants. We also like how it is centrally located for when we want to visit both the north and south shores of the island. We thoroughly loved being on the ground floor this time. It made it very easy for walking outside for morning sunrises. The studio had everything we needed for a weeklong stay. The check in/check out instructions were straightforward, and Kathy proactively responded whenever we had a question. "I am very impressed with the staff. I called for maintenance because when we arrived the toilet wasn't flushing properly. He was here in 15min. I am not kidding. That fast. The sreen door lock was not working and I wanted to leave the door open at night. It was fixed right away. We locked our selves out one evening on the way to dinner the house keeper helped us get in within minutes. We weren't late for dinner reservation.
