Luxury Queen 14-inch Novaform Memory Foam bed and a full size pull-out couch. (Comfortably sleeps a party of 2. We allow up to 3 guests. If you have a party of 4, please ask permission in advance. The couch bed is more suitable for children than adults.)
This ground floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub, and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food, and specialty cocktails. There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!
Suite 151 includes Free wireless internet; 32-inch Flat Screen Roku TV; high-efficiency Fujitsu A/C plus ceiling fan; CD player with an input jack for playing your digital music; programmable microwave; freezer door fridge (there are ice machines on the property); cutlery drawer with designer flatware; large capacity coffee maker; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. Poolside BBQs are available.
Suite 151's ground floor location (Ni’ihau Bldg) affords the best ocean views and all without stairs to climb. Your oceanfront private patio leads right onto the beach. Get ready for sand between your toes and relaxation for your soul. Many of our guests come back year after year for the breathtaking views and short walks to the waves. Enjoy the many unique features and amenities of Suite 151, you'll have that special feeling of island hospitality called aloha! Spend carefree days exploring the mystical and magical Island of Kaua'i. Dine at one of our recommended establishments or take in a fabulous lu'au at Kilohana and every night you will return to the serenity of 151 and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf.
Free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. It's beautifully situated on its own private Waipouli Beach. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei, and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point for them all.
Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If the Guest does not check out at the designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.
CANCELATION POLICY: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/email. There is a $200 non-refundable cancelation fee should you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $200 USD cancelation fee and any costs associated to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent it and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead time we have.
*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.
*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. "I will 100% be back to Kathy's place. I took very long deciding where In Kauai to stay and this spot was so central to both sides of the island. Many activities 15 minutes away and many walkable restaurants/shops in Coconut marketplace. When I am back in Hawaii I will forsure be staying here again. We had no complaints about people upstairs or near us. So many useful items in the apartment including a nice size fridge and freezer."

"The accommodation was perfect, in a nice and quiet resort by the beach. We even had a room with patio in the front row just across the ocean. Every morning we were greeted by beautiful sunrise and cute chickens on the grass:) there was a great beach restaurant/beach club nearby. There was only a small problem with the key box when we arrived, beacuse the previous guest did not close it the right way (you have to read the instructions carefully), but Kathy send some help and fixed the problem. All in all it was a perfect stay on the beautiful Garden island of Kauai."

"the stay at Kathy place was very relaxing and enjoyable. the directions to get inside was accurate and simple. the unit was clean and roomy . the patio opened out directly grassy area just. a few yards from the ocean. The pool and amenities was as described . Shopping was convenient. lots of utensils and dishes available. Be advised no coffee or coffee filters inside unit so make sure you pick them up . but as stated before plenty of options at the community store and the coconut plantation shopping area . very enjoyable stay and would definitely rent again thank you"

"Kathy's place was just as it was described. The beach/ocean is only about 30 feet away. The sunrises were beautiful. The apartment had plenty of items in the kitchen for take out and simple cooking. The small cooler was great for keeping water cold and holding a small picnic lunch for our adventures. Everything was wonderfully clean and tidy with plenty of instructions. The facility grounds were kept up beautifully. We found the bed to be quite firm for our likings as we prefer beds on the soft side. We would stay in Kathy's place again as it was a wonderful apartment in an amazing location on an absolutely beautiful island!"
