The Anahola Beach Home is like going home to the summer place of your grandparents. It's a grand old home, that when you enter, you smile, as you know the relaxing will be easy.  A 'laid back', rejuvenating and soul restoring jewel. The Anahola Beach Home comfortably resides in 'Old Hawaii' with miles of golden-sand local's beach (few tourists) that on some days you may be the only one on the beach.

Steps to the sand, a short stroll north to the Anahola River and a brief walk south to Anahola Beach Park where the waters are gentle. Centrally located and only 13 miles from Lihue airport, Anahola Beach is a public, sandy-bottom beach perfect for swimming, snorkeling, surfing, & fishing. The tide pools and snorkeling areas are located a short walk to each end of the bay, the house is within easy driving distance of restaurants, golf, shopping, and theaters. It's like you've gone to unspoiled Kaua'i, yet only a few miles to Kapa'a, a little farther to Poipu, and north to Kilauea and Princeville.

Anahola Beach House is large where it matters and your family & friends can spaciously spend time together. A huge area, where you comfortably share each other's company in the Living Room, along with 4 bar stools perched at the large kitchen counter, and a dining table that comfortably seats 20 people, 22 if everyone gets closer. Unlike most homes, this is a spacious home designed for your family and friends to 'not' feel like sardines. A grand old house, that when you enter, you know you're home and where relaxing is easy. A 'laid back' place and a rejuvenating and soul-restoring jewel.

Designed for you, family and friends to feel comfortable, relaxed, and at 'home', while the golden sands and blue Pacific are the view through the 35ft. wall of windows

PROPERTY DETAILS:

A new ramp accommodates everyone, and easy to roll large luggage to the front door, through the living areas as well as 3 bedrooms & 1 bathroom, without any steps or shower curbs. New grab bars and 'grip' mats improve the Anahola Home's ability to safely host everyone.

This spacious and well-designed 6 bedrooms / 6 baths (4 bedrooms w/ private baths)

NOTE: Bathroom #2 is designed for mobility concerns  See photos )  along with the new 'entry ramp, which eliminates steps to get into the home and navigate 3 of the bedrooms.

There are 15 beds: 2 King, 7 queen, 6 twin & 2 queen sofa beds, 17 beds total, that can comfortably sleep 20 to 29 guests. The Living Room holds 20 guests in oversized chairs & recliners, 4 at the kitchen counter and another 20 at the adjacent16 ft. long dining table, and 4 more guests at the kitchen island.

- Snorkeling gear (masks, fins, tubes)
- Blow-up water toys, a beach umbrella
- 6 beach chairs

And assortment of infant and children's things, so you won't have to lug around strollers, car seats, 'Porta' cribs, etc. We are constantly adding to our collection of infant, children, and beach-going stuff. We wish to make your stay amazing.

With parking for approximately 6 vehicles, it's a great family, event, or retreat destination, such as Weddings, Anniversaries, birthdays, and celebrations of life.

Watch for playful dolphins and whales (from November to April) and the occasional sailboat and cruise ship beyond the offshore reef.

With new air conditioning, new flooring, lighting, Fiestaware, new cookware and silverware, upgraded furniture, bedding, and mini-fridges in every room, this makes this a lovely home for a wonderful vacation in paradise.

**Colorful historic Kapa'a is about a 10-minute drive south where you'll find art galleries, live music, shops, and a wide variety of cuisine including fresh seafood, Italian, Japanese, Pacific Rim, Chinese, Mexican and vegetarian.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOU RESERVE:

* We have a 'floor plan' that we can send upon request.
* Anahola Beach tolerates autos driving on the beach and cars on their way to the beach, more so around sunset, driving past the Anahola Beach House, to say goodbye to the day and sometimes stereos can be heard. There are some campers, / homeless on the miles of beach, which is not permitted.
* Anahola Beach House is Clean Air Home. Please, no Smoking, vaping, incense or scented candles, or any other smoke-emitting or scent-emitting activity of any kind at home. All smoking, vaping, burning, or scents (candles or incense), etc. must be done outside of the home.
* In 2022 right after we acquired this property, we replaced the carpets with tile, installed new air conditioning, solar panels & batteries, New 'Cambria' kitchen counters, added new organic cotton linens, new dishes (Fiestaware) silverware and cookware, new furniture, improved the landscaping and fencing.
*Anahola is a local Hawaiian beach & neighborhood.  Please observe rules of respect by quieting parties after 10:00,  drive slowly, pick up litter, and in general do not negatively impact your neighbors
* Only the guests you note in your 'booking' are permitted. Should you invite clubs, groups, host a large gathering or party, etc.,  impacts the home's water, power, garbage & sewer systems. This is not permitted. Please, only the guests in your booking are permitted to be on the property or in the home. Please do not reserve the Anahola Beach Home with the intent to invite many other people to be with you. (ie. a Rave Party, etc.) This may cause the home to experience damage and systems failure.
* It's in the Island's tsunami zone due to its location on the golden sands of Anahola Beach.

If you think there is a chance you will have to cancel your trip, please consider purchasing trip insurance from the company we recommend (Yonder Insurance) and mention Kauai Vision Rentals sent you. Yonder gives back with every travel insurance policy sold and was started with a social mission in mind. "We will feed a hungry child for a week with every policy purchased." Providing meals for kids in Nepal and Burma. As Yonder grows more meals are provided to these remote places.
 
There is a non refundable $1200 USD down payment to reserve this home. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation must be received in writing/e-mail. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, we will refund the rent paid if we are able to re-rent the condo. We can only refund for the days we are able to re-rent, less the $1200 USD down payment which serves as the cancelation fee plus any costs to rebook the condo. However, we do try very hard to re-rent and have sometimes been successful in the past depending on how much lead time we have.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law.
